This one is part of a series of works on raw canvas that have a bit more of an organic and fluid feel than some of my other pieces. I started the series after admiring Cy Twombly’s III Notes from Salalah, a series of three large works with dark greens, blacks and fluid whites. There was something about the interplay of the dark and light, and use of gravity/fluidity that resonated.
